Executive Director
Rapheal Davis is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Crew Life Foundation alongside his wife, Asja Davis. His journey has been shaped by the values of leadership, perseverance, and service. During his time at Purdue University, Rapheal was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, earned Academic All-Big Ten honors three times, and served as a three-time team captain, helping build a culture of excellence within the Purdue basketball program.
After his basketball career and experience in corporate pharmaceutical sales, Rapheal felt called to return home and invest in the community that helped shape him. Growing up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he witnessed firsthand the challenges many young people face, including poverty, violence, and limited access to opportunities. Those experiences inspired him to create a platform where youth could find mentorship, guidance, and the resources needed to succeed.
Through The Crew Life Foundation, Rapheal and his team provide opportunities that extend far beyond sports. The organization offers youth sports programs, college tours, career exploration experiences, financial literacy education, internships, after-school programming, mentorship, backpack drives, and community outreach initiatives designed to help young people reach their full potential.
As a basketball analyst for the Big Ten Network, NBC Universal, and Peacock, Rapheal continues to use his platform to inspire others while remaining committed to developing the next generation of leaders. Through Crew Life, he strives to create safe spaces where young people feel supported, challenged, and empowered to achieve their goals.
In addition to his work with Crew Life and broadcasting, Rapheal operates a youth basketball training academy focused on skill development, confidence, and character growth. He is passionate about providing affordable training opportunities for athletes of all backgrounds, including free and reduced-cost opportunities for families in need.
Fort Wayne helped build the foundation for Rapheal’s success, and he remains dedicated to giving back by creating pathways, opportunities, and experiences that allow young people to dream bigger and build brighter futures.
